Homade pump puller?
Anyone know how to just make your own pump puller for auto trans?
Every pump puller from snap on and mac and all that is just a slide hammer with a special attachment. They dont sell just the attachment though, and i already got a slide hammer.

Dad and I are rebuilding my 700R4 and we pulled the front pump today with a threaded puller and a bearing cup. Secure the bearing cup at the base of the splines on the stator shaft, and pull the bearing cup with the puller pushing against the input shaft. It worked really slick.
