i've been researching around the site to find info on the lt1 swap, and im pretty sure i got it now, but there is still one thing i need help with. my car is auto, and i want to swap it to manual. i searched around but there aren't any real threads posted about that topic. is there anyone out there that can help me out?

 

if you cant find anything about a auto to manual swap..i would seriously get your eyes checked. i got over 125 results when i tried.

sorry ScreaminDeamin85Z i didn't really do a search about the transmission swap, i said i did one for the lt1 engine swap which im still doing. i just thought since im researching something else right now, someone may be able to tell me info instead of me looking up to things at once.

 

thanx 86z/92rs both those sites answered most of the questions i had. now i can finish figuring out the lt1 swap. i don't like to research 2 things at once. sometimes i get my info confused and mixed together. know what im saying. thanx agian.

 

do you have to do anything about the computer?.are there different settings for auto or manual??.ive heard of some people switching to a computer from a car that had a t-5 in it.but from what ive seen only 305's came with a t-5 and i have a 350.

 

from the site i read, http://www.skulte.com/T56.html, you don't have to, but you can. and your right people usually use the t-5 chip. im probably going to use the t-5 chip to avoid any problems, if there are any.

 

I didnt change the chip and my car runs awsome, the only thing i had to do was reset the minimum idle, it had to be turned way down for the manual.
