why does my tranny keep shifting like this?
ok i purchased this transmission from this guy that builds them and sells them on ebay...well i live close enough where i can just go over there and talk to him....so he puts it in.....it didnt quite shift right and it ended up going out in a week...so i took it back (has a 1 year warranty on it)......well he fixed it again and he said that he made the shifts softer so it wouldnt break anyting as easily....well now the car hesitates REALLY bad on its shifts....it shifts out of first gear at like 5mph....outta 2nd at like 15...outta 3rd and like 35.....and all of the shifts are really sloppy and if i give it half throttle the tranny starts to shudder!!!...it is really starting to **** me off...my friends 700r4 has such firmer shifts and holds the gears longer......do u think that the tranny guy may have made a mistake when doing the valvebody work...like acumilator, check *****,and other various springs and whatnot.....cuz i really wanna get a performance tranny like he said it would be....i just wish i had enough money and time to do a t56 swap cuz i would b all over that...im tired of messing with sloppy automatics!!

he said somethign about me having to shift it from 3rd to 4th cuz of the way he has the valve body set up....and i always heard that the better line pressure u have the better it will shift so that was always a main point that i brought up to him and he always assured me that it was nice and high.....
