Gear install guru's needed

91 rs gear install.......

so i plan on doing this myself despite everyones advice to have them installed. Why? because the only place in a 150 mile radius that will even install them in sc, charges 350 dollars....which is damned retarded,......now i know about all the shimming and everything needed to set the ring and pinion depth. what i need to know is, what special tools will i need? this will allow me to decide if i can do it myself......i will most likely be dropping the rear end entirley to avoid the not being able to see issues with the rear still under the car..

so...special tools needed?? any words of wisdom ? other than the the threads on the ring are reverse lol....

depth mic with a 2-3 rod and something to use as a datum surface or a pinion setting gage, dial type inch pound torque wrench, ft/lb torque wrench, bearing seperator, press, indicator and mag base, few common hand tools, i use 3/4 drive to tighten pinion nuts but 1/2 would work with a cheater i guess, "special tool" to hold pinion yoke.

ron terry has a complete list, maybe you could PM him a nd see what he has to say.
