Ticking sound when rolling back on a hill in neutral and engine off

Ticking sound when rolling back on a hill in neutral and engine off

What could this be? i was rolling the car down the driveway a little and heard a ticking noise. the car was in neutral and engine was off. car was rolling down backwards.

Could it be the parking brake adjusting itself? I remember soemthing about it self aligning in reverse
