Does anyone know of any websites where i can decode rear axle numbers for 3rd gens???

You may have got your answer already so this is meant to just be another source, that is if you are talking about the codes on the passenger-side axle tube. I found a big chart in the current Haynes repair manual for Chevy Camaro '82 thru '92 in the rear end section.
