Rearend Question
How can you find out the gear ration of a rear end?
I have a clunk in the rear end and am probably going to rebuild it with a posi unit.
What is the recommended posi unit to buy?
Thanks!

easiest way to figure out the gear ration (as you call it) is to look for it stamped on the gear set and do the math. a little more work but just as accurate is to count teeth and do the math. buy a slp posi.

Personally I'd get an Eaton
You can change the posi unit when it burns out.
It has a replaceable peice, and there bullet proof
My friend had problems with his SLP
