hey at first my 700 r4 was not shifting into overdrive from the start i would have to put it in drive and then shift it into over drive for it to engage, then tonight i tried to get my car out of park and nothing happens i can put the shifter int he right position but nothing engages WHATS WRONG???????

 

does the shifter have slack in it?

you may have broke your shift cable and its not turning the shift lever on the driver sdie of the tranny...

i'd inspect that first

 

thanks for the help i found a bolt under the car and the bracket attaching the cable under the car fell off not allowing the cable to be in the proper position to go inter gear, threw the bolt in and got it home all i need to do now is get another bolt thanks again
