lockup
Ok building a 700-R4 for non computerized, carbed engine, now how do i get a lockup torque converter to lockup since i dont have a computer to control it?

There are several ways to set it up.. Try a search on "lockup" and you'll find lots of useful threads... The easiest way would probably be to wire it up with a relay and a manual switch..
Just use a simple toggle switch, I am gonna do the same thing.

TCI, B&M, and a company in california called bowtieoverdrives all make kits to lockup the converter in non-computer controlled cars. Very simple to install.. I have the kit from www.bowtieoverdrives.com.
