my t-5 is out on my car, i want an tko to replace it,here is the problem i have a costom crossmember made for the stock t-5 so that i chould run true duels on the car,it bolts up just like the factory xmember but gives me more clerance,i need to no if the tko will bolt up just like the factory t-5 does with the stock crossmember,so if the tko will bolt up to the factory crossmember then it will work with my coustom crossmember hope you guys can help thanks

 

The stock type crossmember fits with my tko, but needed to be flattened a little on one edge and I had to drill one additional hole in it. Other than that, it needed to be spaced down about 1", as the tko is a bit taller than the t5. Some aluminum spacers came in the kit I bought.
If you can live with the crossmember 1" closer to the ground, it can be made to work.

ok guys i have a question..not abotu the Xmember or anythign else, but what is the torque rating on this beast?....its says 500 ft pounds, but im building a 500 ft pound 383 WITH a blower....im going to road race it ALOT...


isnt there a crossmember kit for it?

 

mine is rated for 525 ft/lbs.....but people are drag racing them into the 9's without much incident.......

they can also be rebuilt much stronger, should anything happen.....but i doubt it will.......drag racing on sticky tires and powershifting is about the worst thing you can do to it, and it stands up pretty well.
