Turbo L700 R

When I baught my frankenstien car, I was told by 2 different people that the tranny was a " Turbo L700 R". Now I know about as much about trannys as Ray Charles knows about reading glasses.

After scrolling through this forum, I see nothing about said transmission. Does it exist or is it this 700R4 tha I keep seeing.

Any Ideas?

It's a 700R4. Maybe the designation that they gave you is what a trans shop calls their rebuilt 700R4s with better internals.
