Currently i have a 10 bolt with 2.73's/posi and rear drums..

i got a buddy i might swap with who has 3.42's/posi disc brakes..

or i can go to the local auto salavage and choose a 10 bolt of 9 bw for $350

from all i have heard on how strong the borg warner 9 is.. i was thinking of finding one with 3.45's/posi disc and putting that in..

Or should i just go with the 10 bolt with disc's???

Which ever one i go with is going to take a lot of abuse into about the mid 12's.. possibly high 11's someday down the road..

but mostly going to be a autocross car too..

of the 2 i'd get the 9 bolt, way stronger tan a 10 bolt and the disk on a 10 bolt aren't much good, plus the posi in a disk 10 bolt isn't that good either.

i would get a 9 bolt also if i had the chance.

i rather just build up my 10 bolt though since u can get posi's and gears cheaper.

my 10 bolt pbr calipers seem to do alot better stopping than my 9 bolts from my 88 cars. didnt 89 up 9 bolt / 10 bolt share the same pbr rear disk brakes?
