T56 swappers, got a question...

Did your exhaust hook up on the t56 (metal peice with a rubber type clamp on the passenger side) give you problems in positioning the tranny? Mine seems to be catching the frame.

No, it sure didn't. That's one little tidbit that every set of instructions I've ever read conveniently leave out.

What I did was section the T56 exhaust hanger 1.5" from the longest section of the hanger. Then I built a custom hanger that bolted to the existing cat on the car and had a bracket coming off it that slipped right into the rubber part of the modified T56 hanger. It took a little while to build, but it works like a factory piece.

BTW, I've got a single cat car, so dual cats are probably a whole other ball of wax.
