T-10 into later 3rd gen?
T-10 into later 3rd gen?
If I remember right, the first year or two of the thirdgens were available with a T-10, and afterwards they went to the T-5.
So what I'm wondering is, would a T-10 still be a direct bolt in into a later model thirdgen?

It only came in the '82 cars, and not alot of them. Most 4 speeds in '82 were Saginaw boxes, and all 4 speeds in '83 were Sag's.
It would probably be a direct bolt in for '82 and '83 only. After that, they all used hydraulic clutch linkages, whereas the T10, Sag, and the '83 T5s had the mechanical linkage.
