Werid Vibration
I've had a problem with my car that has caused me not to drive it for the past week. When ever I get my car around 60mph it startes vibrating really bad. It does it in OD and D. I don't really want to pull it down to 2nd to find out if it does it there but i figure it will. After shifting to neutral and hold RPMs it stops and is the same sitting in park. My tach is off since my car had a v6 in it but i hold it around 2500RPMs where the vibrations start. If the tach was calibrated properly i think its around 1600 RPMs Idleing i hear a knocking that i thought was valves. When I started working on it i pulled the driveshaft out and all the weights are there and the U-joints are still good. I've disconnected the TC from the flexplate and the knocking is gone. When it was knocking at idle and after the TC was taken off the engine was cold. My dad and i are at a complete loss to what the problem is. Could it be my TC or even my trans?
Thanks
Brock

yea my tranny mount was broken and when it shifted hard into n e gear the shifter would practically jump up from the console, bad tranny mounts are easy fixes but very scary if you dont know what it is
