tcc lock up

how do i wire up the tcc without a computer or harness i have heard ways of making a toggle switch and brake lights control it. any help would be great. also i bought a brand new rebuilt transmission thats rated to 675hp and i called the company and they said that i don`t need the mess with the lock up. but then i talk to other people and they say it will burn out the converter? whats is the real answer

You hook into a key switched 12 volt plug and wire it through a toggle and also through a brake mounted switch and then to the trans. I think I remember it is the light blue wire. When the 12 volts goes to the trans it locks and when you break the circuit it unlocks. I'm pretty sure that is how I did my last one but it was awhile ago.

the purpose is if your racing or something you can control the lock up of the converter. i have heard of people not locking it up until around 95 mph. i have also heard people say that they lock it up really early and it feels like a mild shot of nitrous. i want to compare results my self.
