clutch slave cylinder on 4 speed
I have a saginaw 4 speed with hydraulic clutch. Last week the Master cylinder went out, and i replaced both the master and slave cylinders. Well the new slave was plastic. today i busted the cylinder right off. the bolts are still there but the plastic tabs broke off. I still have the old slave cylinder, which is metal. Can the master and slave be seperated, meaning use the new master with the old slave, or does everything come as one unit. The hose from the master to the slave looks like it just slides onto the slave, but i cant pull that thing off. Thanks for your help.

If the piston diameters in both masters was the same itd work fine. Give it a shot and see how it works. I dont see it hurting anything.
