no reverse
this morning i went out to my car and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, overdrive and neutral are forward gears and reverse is neutral and park is park i think that maby the cable needs to be ajusted. any ideas?

sounds like the shifter pin is out of place. very common for colum shifters, but havent see it on center console cars much. you need to pop the plate off, set the pin into park and set the cable up. so yes, adjust the cable

Might also check to see is the pressure regulator is still in the case. A broken c-clip on the regulator or it slid down the bore a bit would cause you to loose reverse. Was this recently worked on? SK install maybe?
