t5 vs t56 master cylinder
t5 vs t56 master cylinder
does the t56 m/c reservoir line come out differently than the t5 m/c? I am having some clearance issues. also... can the t56 m/c hookup to the t5 slave cylinder line...and can the t56 m/c and braided line hookup to the t5 slave cylinder? I have posted a pic of the problem i am having.

They both come out at the front you shouldn't have any clearance problems unless you drilled the hole too close to the brake booster.
Here this is the T-5 one

I don't remember the T56 res. line coming off any differently but I'm forgetting at this point.
I have posted a pic of the problem i am having.
A friend is running an f-body brake booster (bracket holds it away from the firewall.)
tap the master & do a 90 degree fitting.
So I've experimented with all of the above, and ended up adapting mechanical linkage to a 95 T56.
I ended up using a piece of 3/8 hard fuel line to run the res. line up along the brake booster to fix it. it seems to work so far. I also had to change to a later style monte booster...83 and up I believe.
