Rear Noise Only When Warm And Going Slow?
What is causing my noises? My car will make a noise like the muffler is being dragged behind the car at low speeds and it will sometimes make a poping noise that I can feel coming from around the passenger side rear wheel maybe. The car sometimes gives a little jerk along with a loud poping noise. It only does this sometimes and only when the car is fully warmed up and is moving at low speeds. It is definatley loud enough for people who I drive by to notice. It sounds like it is coming from around the middle of the axle and maybe the passengers side wheel. It never does it when the car has sat overnight, it has to warm up and be driven a while before it will make the noises. The car has done this ever since I bought it a year ago. I have almost replaced everything back there while fixing the car up and it still makes the noises. I have replaced the rear axle with a different rebuilt one, I put all new brakes on the rear, replaced the gas tank, new rear coil spring insulators, new shocks, new rear stabilizer end link kit, new u-joints, new welded rear control arms with new bushings, new welded track bar, and new transmision mount. This is confusing, it did it with all the original old parts and is still doing it now with all the new parts i put on, whats up with that?
