Really stupid question...

Gonna expose my ignorance here. I pulled the cover off the rearend and drained the old gear-oil. My question is; since there's no fill plug on the cover, HOW do I put the new fluid in?? I noticed there's a vent on top, but it has a cap on it and I have no idea if it's removable or not.

By the way; all this time I thought I had 3.42s (that's what it was supposed to have because I pulled it from a '84 Z-28 H.O. with auto trans), after counting the teeth it turns out that they're 3.73s. It's only a "one-legger" though. I'll get a posi for it later...

On the front of the pumpkin, passenger side, there's a pipe plug that uses a 3/8" drive extention.
