Regarding Muncie Swap into a Third Gen.
Question does anyone know if you could retain the exsiting drive shaft or do you have to have one cut? Got some good info in regards to the swap but have no information about clearances and measurements and if things would line up properly. Anyone with advise on this matter would be appreciated. Thanks......

It's been talked about before, do a search.
The muncie is like 3 inches shorter than the t-5, so the driveshaft will have to be lengthened. You will have to make your own tranny crossmember and torque arm mount, and you will have to cut some of the floor where the shifter comes thru, because the muncie is physically shorter. You will have to find a shifter that is bent backwards, otherwise you will be putting your knuckles into the radio on the 2-3 shift. I know from experience.
