well i just finished up my auto to t-5 swap and am having a problem, after a little bit of shifting the shifter(the ball at the end) tends to hop outtve of the hole it rests in. this obviously causes a problem cuz i get stuck in whatever gear i was in and no way to get it back in the hole without taking the shifter off and re-installing. any ideas on how to fix this? is it a shifter problem or something in the transmission causing this? would a aftermarket shifter fix the problem?
