The current project that I am working on my IROC is probably going to put out as much as 500-600hp at the flywheel, maybe less maybe more. Anyways, I don't know a whole lot about transmissions, they have never been my strong point. I was wondering what you guys might suggest, as far a 6-speed that will handel that load. I'm pretty sure the T56 is out of the question, but I could be wrong? Maybe the allison, perhaps? I figure it must weigh a ton, but I dunno. I'm open to suggestions.
