I have a 700r4 that was recently rebuilt by a transmission guy and the TV cable is adjsuted correctly, the transmission shifts fine at partial throttle and goes into all gears at full throttle WOT the transmission does not seem to want to upshift by itself when in anything above Low1. The transmission has a Transgo Shift kit in it that was in the tranny before and that one worked fine. Since the rebuild though it jsut doesnt want to upshift at WOT, is there somethign i can check out before i take it back to the tranny guy?

 

have you fixxed your tranny? i seen you got the valve body for sale? my trans is messing up. i took it to a trans shop, and dude said the valves was stikking. he washed and pollised them. it shifted good for about 30 miles till i got on it. then it started to mess up again. what it is doing is not shifting till it hits 3500 to 4500 rps. in the city it suks to drive but on the highway it dont bother me to much. dont know whats going on with it.think i might just get a hole tranny. dont know?

 

yeah its fixed, it was the governor weights were waaaaaaaaay to light. the valve body/servo will be 125 shipped now im lowering the price.
