Symptoms and question?

Hey guys. Well i think my throw out bearing is on its way out, but not even sure because the noise goes away and only happens at a stop, so not sure. But what are some symptoms of one going and will this hurt anything driving with one going bad? Thanks

Typical throwout bearing problem is that it makes noise when you push the clutch, but shuts up (at least mostly) when you let the clutch up. With the car moving or not.

A noise that occurs when the car is in neutral but the clutch pedal is up, is usually transmission bearings; since under those conditions, most of the guts of the trans are spinning.

I can't tell from your description which thing you have going on.
