Confused on what gears I have
I was wondering If these speeds were normal For the stock rear-end in a L03 Rs T-5. I Shift at around 4500 Rpm Because It just doesn't seem like it wants any higher. 1st is 30Mph,2nd is 50,3rd is 80,4th is 105, And then 5th. I know that these are supposed to have 3.08 gears but that would be the same as the 5.0L Mustang, which I have owned 2. I am inbetween 130 and 140 in 4th gear in the stang. That's why the question. Any help on this would be great. Thanks Jason

Most of those came with 3.08s; but the only way to know for sure what's really there is to take off the cover and look.
Don't put too much weight in what the "tach" says. They're notoriously inaccurate in these cars; they nearly always read high, and read higher and higher with age.
Also, keep in mind, the transmission gear ratios are different in the GM T-5 compared to the F*rd one. Ours are closer spaced (better for performance typically). Your motor has very restrictive heads, which makes it have poor high-RPM flow, which means it makes whatever power it makes down low and peters out rapidly. It's designed that way.
