Is any filter better then another? LAst time i used the autozone one it seemd very cheap and was a no name brand. I would like a deacent one it would be cool if mobil made one. Any ways which one is better then the other.
If i just do a filter change and add the 5 quarts i loose i should be ok or is it better to do a compleate flush. My fluid right now looks clean just want my tranny to last as long as possible.

I liked the pan gasket that came with the Puralator filter kit I got at Pep Boys better than the one in the Fram kit from Checker. But, I don't know if the filter was any better.
NAPA, Car Quest, are good places to get "non-name brand" filters. Hastings makes excellant products if you find someone who sells them (such as an AMSOIL dealer).
