Ive got a buddy with a 1991 camaro RS LO3 with 5 speed. He is building a 350 and he is gonna go with a 350 turbo tranny and he said that he would sell me his Transmission, clucth, cluch pedal and basically everything it would take to convert mine over for $300 bucks. I dont have anything against my auto tranny except the fact that i found out after i bought the car that it has a 700R4 out of a 1985 caprice. I am having a hell of a time getting the thing straightened out, i dont think its shifting right and the TV cable doesnt fit because of the mismatched tranny. But anyways i think instead of finding a decent auto tranny id rather just buy his 5 speed and switch it over. I know this will be a pain, but i have a second car so i can basically park it for a while and take my time on it. Think its worth it?

 

Yes, it is worth it since it will be much more fun to drive.
