T56 strength...
I understand that the T56 is supposed to be pretty strong and all but...
How fast are you guys that use them? What are your 60' times? On slicks? What gear? Car weight?
Need to know so I can decide what to replace my tired T5 with. Im either gonna get the G-Force kit or get a 94-97 T56.

10second guys run em for a season or so, but they usually endup getting them rebuilt to handle the stress after that.
basicly that means, if its a street car, even a wild one, it should hold a T56.
Many people rate the stock ones used in F and Y body to about 450 lb ft at the wheels. From what I heard, rebuilding them with the internals they used in the viper T-56's will yield you about 550 hp/tq as long as you aren't running slicks and dropping the hammer at 6000 rpm.
