hey wats up i have an 84 Trans am i am puttin 4.10's in it and i was just wondering if any one has 1/4 mile times with the 4.10 gears to see if there is going to be a major difference. I have a holley carb and full exhaust for now.

 

What motor and tranny do you have? 4.10s is probably gonna be way to much gear unless your revving up in the 7000rpm range. Most people on the boards say for lightly modded cars with a decent cam and stall that 3.73s is the max. You could probably run real good 1/8 mile times with a 4.10 but youd suffer in the 1/4 i bet.
