Clutch promblems, please

im having car trouble and prom has left me a little short in the cash department...
My 5-speed firebird is giving me the $hit problems

As i depress the clutch at a certin point it starts whinning, untill I go all the way to the floor and it lets up.
If you increase the rpm's it gets louder(the whin)
if the car is off it sounds like a squeek and is coming from the front of the car, sounds like drivers side but cant be sure.

just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what this could be.

thanks
-Craig

You could replace the throwout yourself for real cheap. Not sure what a shop would charge. The part itself is cheap.

If I was going through the trouble I would also replace the clutch, you are 80% of the way there any way.
