Hey guys, Im doing a tranny swap in my 89 firebird from a 700r4 to a th350 with a short shaft and I plan on using the 700's output and tail shaft.

I need to know if the output shaft from the 700r4 will fit on the th350, or do I need to order a new one.

Please help

 

Output shaft and tailshaft will work, but you will need an adapter kit. It spaces everything out, and allows the speedo and everythi to work. Do a search and you'll find the thread. I think it is called th350 conversion, or something along those lines. I am running one of those trans now.
