Still got that whine....

Okay guys about 3 weeks ago i had Motive Gears installed, Soild pinion spacer and TA performace cover. The gears are 3.73, i went from the stock 3.23 to the 3.73. i posted after i got the car back and people told me to wait and it should quiet down, well it didnt. its only load when i get off the gas. theres also a very small faint whine when on the gas but you can only tell when your next to like the concret medium on the highway. im thinkin of callin the guy and askin him if he can take a look at them.

But does anyone have MOTIVE gears and are they loud?

well he said that since its only doin it on deceleration its not that big of a problem. and he also said that it might be becuz there not as expensive as some of the better gears. some are made better then others. i guess i chose the cheaper set. trust me this guy is very far from stupid.

oh yeah i know what your sayin i didnt mean to come across that i thought your installer was stupid i was just sayin to be carefull and not to ruin your new gears before you get back to have em fixed completely ya know ......ive heard horror stories of guys installing em and not quite haveing everything set up perfect then driving on em for a week or two and when they took em apart because of the noises they were pretty much destroyed or close to it ......
