HELP with VSS wiring
Hey guys, I have a 91 Camaro with a 89 Iroc Z 5.7 TPI in it. The 700R4 has the VSS module in it, but I need the plug and wiring and info on what pin outs the wires go to in the ECM from the VSS. Can anyone help? Does anyone have a plug they can sacrafice for me?

If you are using the ECM from the 89 this could get interesting. The 89 ECM only has one pin for the VSS and that is pin "A10" and the 91 ECM has five pin locations. Pin "B9", "B10", "B11", "C1", and "D16". Actually pin "D16" on that ECM is for the Park/Neutral signal. These other pin locations mentioned are either not used on the 89 ECM or serve other purposes.

Hello WKDCAMARO,
While working on another post with a similar problem I came across this information. To make the VSS work properly on your car you will need a VSS buffer box mounted near the ECM and wire in the following fashion according to this schematic. The yellow wire from the VSS on the tranny case will go to pin "D4" of the C100 connector and the purple wire will go to pin "E4". The signal wire from the buffer box will go to pin "A10" of the ECM through pin "K" of connector C207. Sorry about the info in my previous post.
