What tranny would you guys get for an 84 z28. Im lookinh at droping in a new crate engine. And would like soem thing that can hold up to some power better. What would you guys get. And what do you think about taking one of a car at the junkers?

 

whats the crate engine specs?
do you prefer manual or auto?

one from a junkyard, for example a stocker 700r4 or t-5 wont hold to well behind a big powerful engine for long.

 

Im not sure yet on the engine. Some im looking at have 330 hp and 380 torque. I have a manual now. I was hoping for a 6 speed. But a 5 is ok to.
