I read somewhere on this site that poly transmission mounts will ruin your transmission by not alowing it to move with your engine. I have the prothane mount but don't want to put it in if it could cause damage. Could someone elaborate on this?

I am tired of all these "old-timers" that think everything custom, or upgraded is going "to cause more trouble than it's worth" or "break other parts". Bull****. Put that mount in and never think about it again, or go to NAPA and buy a replacement rubber one and change it every year. Thread
