shifter

Looking for some help. The plastic piece that comes out of the shifter - can that be replaced. My broke where the plastic hole for the shift know hooks. Also if it can be replaced where would I get the plastic part. Thanks. The plastic rod inside the shift assembly is what I am asking about.
Thanks for any help

Can you be a little more specific? Are you talking about the shifter plate, the shifter ****, the push button on the ****, or the plastic rod inside the shifter assembly?

Yes you can replace them, just go to a junkyard and pull the shifter **** off any 3rd gen or several other GM models with floor shifters and pull one out. Might cost a buck or two if that.
