Removing Axles...

Removing Axles...
Right now, I'm trying to remove the axle in my 89 iroc convertible, and the c-clip wont come out. the rear end is even on an angle from the right to the left and it wont come out.....whats the easiest way to get the sucker out?

tried, even used our utility tractor and pushed the wheel and it didn't work

You have to remove the wheel and the brake drum or rotor. No force is required; you should be able to just reach over with one arm and push the axle in, while cathcing the clip with your other hand.

yeah the shaft was out, i've done it before on my 81 camaro and it just fell out....its ok though, i got it out....i wasn't thinking and the brake drum and wheel were still on (i rounded a lug
) so me and my dad used a cable puller and got it out
