I was reading through my 85 GM shop manual and noticed the picture appeared to show shims that go between the tranny mount and the crossmember (although the supposed shims were not labeled as such). I was just wondering if there is supposed to be shims there with a factory mount?? When I replaced mine there were none but I am curious since someone may have removed them.

Oh, it's a 2.8 and T5 if that make a difference.
