Am I crazy?

Ok heres the deal, i leave for my lake house on a 5 week vaccation in 4 days. I currently have a burned out posi and 3.23 gears in my car. I do however have a set of motive 3.73 gears and an SLP posi unit sitting on my bench waiting to be put in and id really like to have them for the summer so here is my question.....

Can I swap the gears myself, do it correctly, and do it within a day or two?

I plan on marking EVERYTHING i pull out and put it back EXACTALLY the same. Will this be enough? Where can i find a good article that will guide me? Any ideas? Thanks

Wait until you get back. You can't just put the new ones back in "exactly" like the old ones come out.

There is a lot to installing rear gears. If you are a novice I would not attempt it.

Well im not exactally a novice. I rebuilt the engine, transmission, and everything else by myself, but ive never done gears and its the one thing on the car that i have no experience with. youre right though, 3 days isnt enough time. i guess ill just have a 3.23 one-tire-fire summer. thanks anyway
