ok guys. my 90 TBIed 305's 5-speed is sometimes kicking itself out of 2nd gear when I downshift AND it grinds in 3rd and 4th all the time (syncros arent syncing...) 1st 5th rev are all fine. i think the fluid levelk may be low so im going to add some but will this fix the problem...? and what kind of fluid do i add?

 

Add Dextron 2 or 3 automatic transmission fluid. DO NOT add gear oil.

 

To the transmission? ATF. To the clutch hydraulics? brake fluid.
