Tranny leakage...

I don't know where it's comming from but I have a good idea. My tranny is not the stock tranny(possibly TH350). On top of that it leaks but only when the car is not running or parked. Most of the leaking fluid seems to be comming from the rear of the tranny(tail shaft).I don't know if it's over filled and pouring out or if a seel is gone. When I check the fluids the car says full. But the pavement says otherwise. Seems to drive fine but take a little longer to shift so I know it's losing fluid. Can anyone give me an idea as to what to look for ?

I would look for a leak. Sometimes it can be difficult to find, especially if everythings caked in dirt, so cleaning the areas you suspect should help. You should be able to see the rear seal and a leak if there is one there. Otherwise i would suspect the pan seal.

I believe it's a rear seal
