Any consequenses to not locking torque converter?
I've got an 85 Z28 LG69. I pulled the computer and put a Holley 600 e-choke, 1 in phelonic spacer, MSD Ignition, Lunati cam, port/polished heads, dynomax exhaust. After I took out the computer, of course, the TC won't lockup. I've been driving the car like this for about 4 months. Are there any bad consequences to not locking up the TC? By the way, I have a 700r-4 tranny.

Heat. When you are on the highway the trans will run hotter, and heat kills transmission life.
I have a TCI lockup kit I'll sell to ya for 35$ shipped.
Or you can simply wire up a toggle switch. When you are on the highway in 4th gear, you hit the switch. When you are slowing down, unlock it. I would just wire a toggle switch if I were you, it's very simple to do and costs less than 10$ to do.
