Driveline vibration/gear noise
Hey guys, I just installed a Prothane poly tranny mount in my car with a T5. The original mount was shot and considerably shorter than the urethane one. Now when I hit higher RPM like around the 3500-4000 range I get some vibration that almost sounds like gear noise or a shuddering that sounds like its coming from the rear. I'm thinking that this may just be from the extra solidity the polyurethane mount gave me but I'm still worrying it may be from lifting the trans higher than it was and giving it a different angle. Is it just normal vibration or are my rear gears making noise from the slightly different angle or what? Thanks for any help guys.
