Hey guys, Im in stafford VA with my 1991 RS Camaro. It has the 700r4 automatic, rebuilt with 20,000 miles on it approx. Tons of stuff done to it, like motor swap to a 350 crate motor, new 3.42 posi's in the rear. But my problem now, is...it seems like my tranny is shifting WAY too hard for itself. And when i get onto the throttle, the whole car shakes and jolts shifting out of 1st and 2nd. I doubt it's something internal because under normal acceleration, and throttle, the car shifts fine, and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. I think it may be the tranny mounts, Im not too sure though, what do you guys think?

Sounds like it is your tranny mounts, if it was the trans going bad then it wouldnt be hard under acceleration it would most likely slip between the 1-2 id say check all your trans mounts and also your motor mounts they could be doing it, if you didnt replace them when you changed the motors. good luck marc
