WHERE CAN I FIND A USED 3-SERIES CARRIER FOR THE BORG-WARNER 9 BOLT? I AM CHANGING MY GEARS FROM 2:77 TO 3:70 THE HIGHER GEAR RATIO IS BETTER FOR ACCELERATION CORRECT?

3.70 is actually a lower ratio than 2.77, which gives you more torque multiplication and better acceleration.

Numerically its higher, and yes it will give you much better acceleration. They have carriers and rearends for sale once in a while on ebay. Maybe have a look over there.
