will this be bad?
so changed my kick down cable (newbie) and didn't realize that ATF would come pouring out. well now I need to top off what I lost and I have 2 quarts of B&M trick shift that I could use to top it back off but I read bad things about this stuff. seeing as how it won't be the only fluid in the trans will it do bad things to the trans? trans has to last only a little while longer but hate to blow it up and be stuck. this is a 700r4 as you should imagine.

I have always had bad luck with auto trannies. My personal feelings are that if you don't know what kind of fluid you have go with a standard fluid. Or if you do know what kind of fluid you have go with that brand. Its kind of stupid because most fluids are similar but not all fluids are created equal!
I guess what im trying to say is go out and buy a standard ATF fluid if thats what you have in it right now.

see this is the problem, I have no clue what is in it right now so, I assume a dexron IIE like the book says it needs but, all they have is dexron III at the store so can I mix the two?

All versions of Dexron are compatible with older versions. If your manual says Dexron II, you can use Dexron III or IV just fine.
