I put 3.73 gears in the rear end. THe speedo is now out by 20 clics, I knew this would happen (so its no surprise). I was told that its as easy as putting a new gear in the tranny for the speedo. I called the GM dealer closest to me, and he says that his charts only go up to 3.42 ratio. So am I hooped?? or does anyone have any ideas, or places I could call?? Im going to sell the car (to buy another one), so I figured I should get the speedo right.

21 or 22 tooth driven (ideal is somewhere in between those 2)

I can just go to the dealer and spit out the # of teeth and the colour and they will know what Im talking about??:lala:

 

It depends how helpful the guy at the counter decides to be.
