OK, my question is in regards to the console/"non" console versions. What is it about the console version that's different? Is it simply that it comes with the console plate? I was thinking about putting the "non-console" QS in my Iroc, and just using a 5 speed boot and console plate.

....is that possible?

.....is the height different between the two? I know the non console megashifter is a bit taller than the console version.

The console version came with the console plate, and some bracketry to get it to mount to the factory locations, I believe. Unfortunately the console version hasn't been made in years.
